First and moremost - the more you order, the best shipping rate you get. Think about it! If you order 6 months supply of "something" versus getting monthly shipments you save money! See below how it all works.
Shipping costs can be confusing. We would like to help you understand shipping costs by providing the information below:
All shipping costs have a base cost before it starts adding cost per pound.
For example a shipment may have a $10 base charge to start and price goes up 75 cents per pound thereafter.
It gets even more complicated when you factor in the base price, the price per pound, the physical dimensions of the box (L x W x H), and where the shipment is going. Then there are fuel surcharges and GST.
Also shipments can vary in cost based on whether the location is easy access or if air shipping is needed to get the shipment to remote locations.
Even though we are in tough times in regards to gas pricing and transporation costs, we try to make our shipping costs as fair as possible for our customers.
Shipping Costs VS Time and Gas Saved
When it comes to shipping costs, weigh it against your time and gas saved.....or even stress. If time is important to you and you don't want to spend alot time walking through stores, or fighting the traffic to get to them, then having products shipped to you makes sense and the cost is justified.
Internet shopping is only going to get more popular as people try to lower stress levels and save time so they can do the things they want to do, not the things they have to do.
